McGill Podcast Project Adds Second Richford Voice
The student collective behind 'Nous Sommes RONA / We Are RONA' has confirmed a second Richford resident will be interviewed for the series. Library staffer Colette Aubin-Roy, one of the project's local anchors, learned the news secondhand.
RICHFORD, Vermont — The McGill student collective behind the ongoing podcast series Nous Sommes RONA / We Are RONA confirmed this week that a second Richford resident has been selected and contacted as an interview subject, according to a brief update posted to the project's listener forum. The note was spare, as has been the collective's habit — a few lines, no scheduling details — but regular contributors in the Quebec border thread noticed it quickly, and engagement there has picked up since.
Colette Aubin-Roy, the Richford library staffer who has served as one of the town's most visible points of contact with the collective, learned about the post secondhand: a library patron mentioned it in passing during the afternoon. She had not yet seen it herself. For a border community long accustomed to appearing as a footnote in larger stories, having a second neighbor chosen to speak for the place carries some weight.
