Col. (ret.) Tomás Vargas

Tomás Vargas served twenty-two years in the RONAn Defense Forces, retiring at the rank of colonel in 2039. He commanded the 3rd Vermont Territorial Battalion during the border stabilization operations of 2037–2038, and later served as a strategic analyst at the RONAn Defense Ministry. He joined the Ronan Times as its defense and security correspondent in 2040. He holds a master's degree in strategic studies from the Naval War College.
