Mei-Lin Zhao is the Ronan Times's Asia-Pacific bureau chief, based in Singapore. A former senior correspondent for the South China Morning Post, she covered China's internal politics and its expanding role in global security for fifteen years before joining the Ronan Times in 2039. She holds degrees from Peking University and the Fletcher School at Tufts. She is the author of The Pacific Pivot (Penguin Asia, 2038).
